E-Response from Donn Randy Garrison and Zehra Aykol of COI

This one is pretty major....

From DRG

Aleta,
I cannot recall studies using TP and the CoI in synchronous live classes but would encourage you to do such a study. The CoI framework should apply well to such contexts.
I have copied this to a colleague of mine who may have knowledge of such a study.
Best wishes,
DRG

From ZAykol

Dear Aleta,

I know one study that may help you. It is a qualitative study, the authors asked students what makes some online instructors good and then they used the CoI framework to interpret the results.

Good luck with your studies.
